2026 Season

LEADER
BOARD

Current season standings across all divisions. The board resets each January so there is always a fresh race. Your taniwha do not: they are built from your lifetime points, and once a piece is placed it is yours for good.

ALL-DIVISIONS RANKINGS

How to read this board

Season points — every session earns points per event: 1st place = 100, dropping by a gap based on session size (minimum 10). Effort work adds up to 100 more per session.

Wins — sessions finished 1st in your division this season. In-session, the lowest total placement across all 10 events wins.

Top domain & top event — where you rank highest against your division. Top X% means only that few players who’ve played it beat your best; 1st means no one has. Tap My Events on your dashboard for the full breakdown.

Taniwha — the pieces you hold on the taniwha you are building, out of 11, and which one it is. Once anyone holds a crown the column counts crowns instead, out of 11. Either way it is built from your lifetime points, not the season total in the points column, and never lost. See the key below.

The Collection

TANIWHA KEY

Twelve taniwha, each built from 10 pieces and a crown. The body comes from turning up — one piece for every 1,000 lifetime points, and those never reset. The last of them is the implement, the tool of that discipline. The crown has to be earned.

A discipline taniwha is crowned by winning 9 of its 12 events. Te Taniwha o te Whānau is crowned by bringing someone into the sport. Hold all 11and they gather into Te Kāhui at 110,000 points.
